Granny Squares

Shortlisted for the Deep Creek Residency Fellowship - 2022

My memoir in progress, Granny Squares, was shortlisted for this incredible residency in 2022. My memoir themes of estrangement, coming of age. The memoir takes form in a series of short, episodic chapters. The work is fragmented and flashes between past and present; the episodes are connected through threads that join moments in time through conversations, smells, bodily feelings, and repressed memories.

Loopholes Embroidery

I started my embroidery business in 2019. I specialise in crafting custom pet portraits. I run my business with the environment and ethical consumption in mind, and the majority of materials I use in my practice are second hand.

Through my business I also make clothing items out of second hand blankets and donate the proceeds of this work. For more information, look under the 'service' tab.
